Planning Application Search
You can use any of the fields set out below to search for applications contained in the public register. The complete recorded history for each application (the forms, drawings etc) has also been added (where available). If you are in any doubt or need assistance searching for a record then help is available either by contacting the Planning Advisory Desk (024) 7683 1212 or by emailing the Planning team at planning@coventry.gov.uk. An administrative charge may be payable if you require paper copies of any documents.
You can search using a single field (e.g. by application reference, date of validation, street) or multiple field searches [e.g. address and decision date].
Reference Numbers: The Reference number is a three part reference automatically generated by the database (e.g. R/2009/1001). The middle part referring to the year the application was made. You can search using this number for a specific application. The Coventry reference is a unique site reference in the format 12345 or 12345/A or A/12345 or A/12345/A. You can search this field using the full Coventry reference, or if you want to see other application made on the site just enter the number part in the search field.
You can print off the results of your search by clicking on the printer symbol at the bottom of the page.Whilst historic planning information is provided in good faith it should not be used as a replacement for a formal search.
